Thoughts: Parents.

Was walking around the mall and spotted this young girl, closing her eyes, holding her father's hand and walking. I heard her telling her dad that she trusts him and she's closing her eyes to walk. And for the first time, I find kids so sweet =)

Friends, appreciate your parents, they won't be with you forever whether you like it or not. And parents, no matter "good" or "bad" will always be bonded to you by blood, and well, as I think of it, better to have parents that you dislike and complain about than not having any at all.

If you so happen like your parents and find them very cool like I do, good for you! Appreciate them even more. Yes, even if they're weird. Who says you're normal anyways? =P

Thoughts: gender equality.

While taking the lrt/bus back to Taiping this weekend, the thought of gender equality popped up, no thanks to one of the classmates that keep repeating the phrase.

So actually, WHAT, does gender equality means?

I never thought about it much, but I believe that there will never be gender equality. Unless guys can give birth, and girls can err... make guys pregnant? =___=

However, I do believe that we have equal rights to live as a human. In the olden days, and even now, girls were made to believe that they are not worthy to live as much as the guys are. They were considered a disgrace to the family in some parts of the world. Heck, they were even killed just because they are, a girl.

But fortunately, with the human race being more "civil", girls in most parts of the world have the equal right to live as the guys. They are not killed as soon as they're born. Well, not as often as they do anyway.

And I am grateful that I'm born in this era, where I have the right to live, and am given the right to make choices. Yes, sometimes, I was treated unfairly just because I'm a girl, but I do believe that someday, both the genders will live with equal rights.

I still don't believe in gender equality in the sense that girls can do what the guys do and vice versa.

Woman these days, they tend to want to take charge. In the work force, I'd say it's still alright. But in a family? I don't think that's right.

The Bible, yes, you may faint. I do read the Bible.

The Bible clearly states that the man is the head of the family, and therefore, the woman should respect their husband. And husbands, the Bible also states that you need to love your wife like you love yourself =)

People always say that girls were treated unfairly, but I think guys were treated unfairly too. In fashion sense, you wouldn't even frown or take another look if a woman were to wear pants these days will you? But if a guy wears a skirt, I'm sure at least 80% of the people will still frown, stare and STAREEEEEE.

And of course, there are other areas too, but well, discover that yourself. =D

so long~~

and yes, after re-reading it, I find it without any main point. oh well. feel free to hit the search button on Google.
